Shawn "Puncho" Carter

Coach Carter was born in Monroe, LA.  At a young age, he grew to love the game of basketball and his passion for the game has continued.  He attended Grambling State University for three years and is a graduate of Northwood University with a Bachelor’s of Science Business Management.
Coach Carter has 15 years of experience in coaching basketball at the high school level.  He has coached and mentored several AAU players throughout this time as well.  Throughout his experience, he was instrumental in coaching teams/ players to a 4A State Championship win.  In addition, he works with colleagues to assist with strengthening techniques for their players.  He has been officiating on all levels for over 15 years and is currently a certified member of the University Interscholastic League with Plano Independent School District PISD & Carrollton Farmer’s Branch Basketball Association.  He has also coached his own AAU the last four years and has some of the best talents in the country.
Coach Carter is a husband, proud father and young adult advocate!  He is very excited to play a vital role in the development of young men to become productive individuals in the community. He believes athletics, guidance, and discipline will inspire these young individuals to strive for greatness.

Coach Tree
Tru-Playaz BB Blub Coach Since 1991
Coach Antonio Tree Adams born in East Saint Louis, Illinois but raised in Chicago, Illinois.  At the age of 13 Coach Tree organized his first Men’s Summer League at Lathrop Elementary School (Westside of Chicago) with a gentleman named Richard Bradshaw who worked security at Marshall High School.  Once the league was up and running after several years, Coach Tree moved on to focus on his senior year of basketball.  After having a great senior year at George W Collins with his high school teammates playing at the University of Chicago for the City Title vs. Marshall High School Coach Tree later joined the United States Marine Corps.  After completing his commitment with the U.S.M.C. Coach Tree begins playing basketball again at Labette Community College and later received a Scholarship to Regis University.  At Regis University Coach Tree completed his Bachelor Degree in Computer Informational Systems.
